My name is Tony, and like you, my most important job is being a dad. That means I’m also the short-order cook, the head of cleanup, and the chief worrywart about my family’s health.

For years, I struggled with the same cycle of frustration in the kitchen. I’d buy a new “non-stick” pan, promising easier mornings and quicker cleanups.

But within months, it would be scratched to hell from metal utensils, warped from high heat, and slowly flaking who-knows-what into our food.

I’d look at my daughter eating her eggs and feel a pang of anxiety.

This wasn’t just about convenience; it was about safety.

The final straw was a Sunday night. I was trying to sear some steaks for a family dinner.

The pan heated unevenly, steaming the meat instead of browning it. My daughter’s friend was over, and as I struggled to scrape the stuck-on mess into the sink,

I felt embarrassed. This wasn’t the joyful, confident cooking I wanted to model.
